Foodcrumbles.com only collects such personal information that is necessary for you to access and use our services. Personal identification information is voluntarily submitted (e.g. by asking for your name or email address in order to subscribe to our mailing list or making an account to access our courses). Users may visit our site anonymously. Personal information is never sold to third parties and you may opt out of our mailing list at any time either by contacting us directly or by following the link at the bottom of our emails.

Foodcrumbles.com makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Comments & Contact forms

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you submit information through a contact form we collect the data shown in the contact form as well as the visitor’s IP address. We will store this information in our e-mail provider and will not use it for marketing purposes.

This information will be stored indefinitely.

FoodCrumbles.com uses Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. Users can completely block Google Analytics tracking using Google’s Analytics Opt-out browser add-on.

Display ads

The Website uses Mediavine to manage all third-party advertising on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use cookies. Courses – LearnDash

We use LearnDash to sell/distribute our courses. We only collect data relevant to you being able to sign in to the course and to contact you with basic and introductory information. You may be asked to sign up for an e-mail list if you’re interested.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide an email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Create your account

If you register a free account then we will store your email address. We store information about you for as long as your account exists. We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and/or essay submissions (if applicable). We will also store comments on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.

Only our administrators have access to your information such as:

  • Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress and username / email address.
  • Any additional information added in your WordPress User Profile can also be visible to the administrator(s).

Obtaining your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
